Throughout our lesson program, our top priority is the safety of both our riders and our horses! We offer 30 minute English riding lessons, in which students receive interactive, hands on, and personalized training. Students are expected to be at the barn 15 minutes prior to their lesson time in order to get their horse ready for their lesson!
Lessons take place Monday-Friday, 3:30-5:00.
Patience is a virtue all children must learn, and it does not always come easy. Lessons are a great way to teach patience, from a hands-on approach. Riders must not only be patient with the horses, but also in the progression of their riding skills. Riding skills do not develop over night. Patience is a key characteristic for a rider's success.
As riders mature their skills and knowledge, we encourage them to take on additional responsibility to further develop their horsemanship skillset. Barn work is an inevitable chore, in which there is always something to be done! From proper horse care, to barn maintenance, our riders are encouraged to work together to showcase their responsibility!
Not all things are easy in horseback riding, and eventually in time, everyone falls off the horse! However, the real lesson comes from getting back on the horse, correcting your mistakes, and through perseverance, achieve success!
